I love music. A good song is like the rapture. It makes you light in your heart and feet.
I had the pleasure of attending my first concert tonight. I went to the Madison Theater to see All the Day Holiday. It was their cd release and I have heard a lot about these guys. Heck I have heard so much of their music that I know the words and everything.
I got to see my first “happy pit” and I had fun with everyone. Well they had a little too much fun with me. But I expected it. (Wait till you see some of the pictures!) It was a great show and I am very proud of the guys in the band.
Here’s me enjoying some tunes.

I find it amusing that a lot of companies (and people for that matter) run their lives based on principles that I taught. There are some who have made a lot of money taking my principles and making them sounds like their own. I will admit I find it even more amusing when people who say I don’t exist use the principles I taught to guide their lives.
But I’m rambling. Yes sometimes even Pocket Jesus rambles.
This photo is from my trip to Cleveland. We were wandering around the mall when I discovered Hard Rock Cafe’s motto “Love All Serve All”. Hmmm…wonder where that comes from.

For the next 4 weeks I am attending a class on Exodus. It’s Old Testament and although many think I’m a New Testament person, I’m here to tell you I’m a fan of both.
Last night was the first night of the class and we were introduced to Moses. I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to him as well.

Bet you didn’t expect a pocket Moses did ya? :) Watch for Pocket Moses for the next 4 weeks on Thursdays.

After the incident with the peep, I took a little bubble bath to get so fresh and so clean clean.
What can wash away the stickiness of peeps, nothing but some soap and some water…

I’ve noticed that Easter for most is about bunnies, eggs, and candy. I think bunnies, eggs, and candy are good. So I decided to taste test some of the most popular Easter candy - peeps and Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs.

Let me just say that those Peeps are amazing. I have learned that they are better after they have sat out for a bit. They get nice and crunchy.

Don’t judge, you know you love some Easter candy too.

My favorite puppy Kaya, got really dirty at the dog park. See her picture here. So instead of attempting to brave the bathing experience the decision was made to have a “professional” fix her up.
When we picked her up she had little green bows in her hair. It was too cute but you could tell she hated them.
I decided I would model one of them for you. What do you think? Should modeling be my next career move?

I realize that sometimes my adventures can be a bit silly and sometimes it might offend you. But the bottom line is that I am trying to encourage you to see me in your life…your everyday life.
Given that today is Easter, it was ironic, that today I discovered I have a “boo-boo” on my hand. It reminded me that my wounds offer you healing. My brokeness for your wholeness.

I had the pleasure of taking my favorite puppy, Kaya, to Wiggley Field. Wiggley Field is a dog park at VOA. Kaya was very excited and had a blast chasing the tennis ball and the softball.
But all the dogs that were there and came while we were there were big dogs. So Kaya had no playmates. We were both sad and found ourselves longing to go to the other side and play with those doggies.

There’s a saying that goes something like “Find a penny pick it up and all day you will have good luck.”
I found a penny while shopping in Cleveland and picked it up. But I did one better than keeping it and having “good luck”, I passed the good fortune on. I tossed it into the fountain where the proceeds were being donated to a children’s home. They’ll do a lot more with that penny than I will.
